If St. Thomas is your next port, a little local knowledge can make provisioning faster and far less frustrating.
Every crew has their own system, but the island has its quirks. Knowing what to expect can save hours once you're alongside.
Order Earlier Than You Think
If your itinerary is firm, don't wait until you're tied up to start building your order.
Most experienced crews send provisioning requests before arrival, giving suppliers time to source products, coordinate substitutions if necessary and schedule delivery around dockside operations.
The earlier we receive your order, the more likely we can source exactly what you're looking for.
Every Marina Operates a Little Differently
Whether you're alongside at Yacht Haven Grande, American Yacht Harbor, Crown Bay Marina or Compass Point Marina, knowing your ETA, dock assignment and the best contact onboard helps keep deliveries moving.
If your berth changes or your arrival is delayed, a quick update goes a long way.
Some Products Require Flexibility
Living on an island means availability changes.
A specific vintage, imported cheese or specialty produce item may not always be available the same week you arrive.
If an item can't be sourced, we'll reach out with comparable alternatives instead of making assumptions.
Specialty Requests Are Normal
Need birthday flowers?
A celebration cake?
A specific Champagne?
An item that's not on the website?
Just include it with your order.
Many of our provisioning requests include products that aren't listed online, and we'll do our best to source them through our local supplier network.
Think Beyond the First Dinner
Experienced crews usually aren't provisioning for tonight.
They're thinking about breakfast for eight, beach lunches, guest preferences, late-night arrivals, crew meals between charters and enough beverages to avoid an emergency run ashore tomorrow.
Building one complete order almost always saves time compared to several smaller deliveries.
Local Knowledge Saves Time
Nobody wants to spend half a day visiting multiple supermarkets after making port.
Our goal is simple: help you get what you need with as little disruption to your schedule as possible, so you can focus on guest prep, turnover or getting back underway.
Whether you're provisioning for a private yacht, charter vessel or delivery, we're here to help make your stop in St. Thomas a little easier.
